About the role
The Noachis app is one React Native codebase on iPhone and Android. You will build screens people use every day, from the For You feed and the camera to checkout and messages, and keep them smooth on an older phone as well as a new one.
What you will do
- Build new screens and tools in the app with React Native, Expo and TypeScript.
- Keep scrolling, video playback and the camera smooth on low and mid range phones.
- Work with design on every detail, from spacing to motion and haptics.
- Write tests for what you build and help release the app every week.
What you bring
- 3 or more years building mobile apps, with at least one in React Native.
- Strong TypeScript and React.
- Experience with video, the camera or long lists on a phone.
- Care for how an app feels, not only how it works.
Nice to have
- Native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience.
- Experience shipping through App Store and Google Play review.
